loading=lazy is missing when ShortPixel is enabled

    Hey

    This is a great parallax solution to counter the core cover block parallax using CSS background images.

    I’m running in to an issue when using ShortPixel Image Optimizer. This adds images with WebP versions, inserted in the page using the <picture> tag

    However for some reason it doesn’t apply any loading=lazy to the block, so it slows page load down.

    WP + AWB = Lazy
    WP + AWB + SPIO = Lazy
    WP + AWB + SPIO with WebP <picture> = AWB parallax image is missing Lazy

    Any idea why this is happening? I’ve also opened this in the ShortPixel forum

    Hey.

    I’m not sure we can do something with a 3rd-party plugin, that automatically converts img tags. And as I know, they recommend using the .htaccess solution to deliver WEBP images.
