There were a few warnings but disabling the related plugins didn’t fix this issue.

Because of something, registered script stock-ticker has not loaded during widget/shortcode print.

Meanwhile, please test to put shortcode [stock_ticker] in some test page and tell me is ticker loaded or also keep displayed ‘Loading stock data…’?

Disabling all plugins made no difference.

The issue is that something is missing from the widget, it won’t work on it’s own but will if the short code is used somewhere on the page.

My work around was to include the shortcode on the page but hidden. Now everything is normal… at least in appearance.

David, if Stock Ticker widget does not work even with disabled other plugins, then it’s clash with theme.

You can also try to put ticker shortcode in to text widget. Does that works (w/o shortcode in page content, only in text widget)?

I will love to debug and fix this clash, if you are OK to provide premium theme used on website for testing in our development environment? If not, you can continue to use workaround with shortcode.
