• Hi all,

I am pretty much 100% happy with the look and feel of my website: https://www.constantincerdan.com/

I only have one issue. A number of visitors have complained about long initial loading times when first visiting the site. This is obviously because I am using the fast loading minimalist theme (fast loading in the sense that when you click on a title the image pops down immediately, meaning that it obviously has to load them all first). To make this wait more bearable and perhaps more understandable I was wondering if it were possible to have a small text that says “loading” before the website is ready. Example: https://www.bettinavonzwehl.com/main.html (one of my tutors at university if any of you are familiar with her work :D)

This must be possible, so do any of you know how I would go about doing this? Thanks in advance!

  • the website take a lot to load.. the view on Mozilla is kinda Wide wide , you have to fix the Width, and the problem is not wordpress or the theme you use, but it’s from your Hosting Package!! how much bandwich you have!?

I’m pretty sure it’s the theme, as it loads all the images first. I have unlimited bandwidth per month. Am using Bluehost.

As for the width problems, what’s your screen resolution? Mine is 1440 x 900 and I have no problems. Would it be possible to take a screenshot so you could show me what you mean?
