• Hello Community,

Sometimes my WordPress site is having loading problems with Firefox. As soon as you click your way through the shop, the page randomly stops loading and you only see a white screen. If you examine the “white pages” you can see that div boxes etc are there, but as I said a completely white page. Before the problem occurred, I installed a plugin, which I deactivated and deleted. Even so, the problem persists. The website works perfectly in Chrome or on the mobile phone (Firefox and Chrome).

I also went back a few months using backups. Unfortunately the problem persisted.

Do you have any idea what it could be?

    Thanks and best regards, Lili

    Hi Lili,

It looks like your theme, Martivi, is likely causing the issue. It’s a theme that hasn’t been updated since March 2019 and I can’t find support for it anywhere. I would suggest changing the theme.

However, I noticed that the shop pages do load in Firefox after refreshing a couple of times. If there is a setting to disable the animated page transitions, try that first. It’s likely something in the javascript for the transition that’s causing the load issue.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response. Yes, after refreshing the website a few times, the pages are loading. I aslo thought about that my theme might be too old, hopefully that′s the problem and it will be all right if I change the theme.
