So love this plugin except for one thing, it’s not loading the new defined slugs. For example I create a page called “Test Page” which means the default permalink would be “/test-page/” but say I change it to “/tests/” and then add a child page by the name of “Test 1” I get the permalink “/test-page/test-1/” and not “/tests/test-1/” which is the slug I want, so can you please fix the plugin to use new defined slugs in child pages instead of the default wordpress created ones?

@elxafil Welcome to the Custom Permalinks Support Forum.

As per your above scenario for the child page. So, by default it reads the slug of the Parent Post not the URL. If you want to use the Slug follow on the child pages so, you need to create change postname of the page so, that would followed by the child pages.

Secondly, Custom Permalinks plugin doesn’t create the Permalinks automatically it provides the functionality to update it as per your requirement so, at the time of creating the child page WordPress Creates the Permalink by itself.

If you want to create the permalinks automatically and override the WordPress Permalinks so, use Permalinks Customizer Plugin which is the advanced version of this plugin and also created and supported by me.

I am talking about the slug of the parent page, it loads the WordPress generated one instead of the custom one I defined which is what I want. I should not have to change the page title to update the permalink as well.
