Loading multiple copies gstatic/recaptcha

I’ve noticed that when this plugin is enabled for multiple targets (like login, lost password, sign up, etc) that the Google recaptcha is loaded multiple times. If I have Login Form and Sign-Up Form selected, GTmetrix says that this URL https://www.gstatic.com/recaptcha/api2/v1552285980763/recaptcha__en.js is loaded 4 times (at 222MB each). If I added the Lost password there are 6 references to the gstatic.com URL.

Is this typical? The waterfall report shows that the code is only downloaded once and referenced from the cache from then on, so it may not actually affect performance. But it does impact the GTmetrix scores (disabling the plugin takes my site from a B/C to an A score).
