loading italic font even though its set to not loaded

    Hi

    I am using your plugin and found it to be extremly helpful. I set it to preload the normal 400 500 600 font and set it to not load any other font

    However in the GTMetrix report we can still see an italic font being loaded. How is that possible?

    I want to get rid of this /uploads/omgf/google-fonts-1-ul-ht3ca/montserrat-italic-400.woff2

    Hmmm… That’s weird. Could be a bug.

    Could you share a screenshot of your settings of OMGF Pro? Also, which theme are you using and are you using a page builder (from the name of the stylesheet I’m guessing Elementor?)

    Im having the same problem, my website loads an additional font – italic type.
    as I follow the forum news, ive did the recent update and yet it didnt bugfix it.

    still not working,
    I even have duplicated fonts( 400 & 700 ) and I dont know why.

    Did you by any chance use the preload option of another plugin to preload OMGF’s fonts?

    yes, I did preload with wp-rocket.
    now I dont have the duplicate fonts its gone after few tests, just the italic one that I havent set, that hasn’t solved yet.

    Hi Chen,

    You’re still preloading the Italic font. Just look at the screenshot of your page’s source:

    Rubik Italic 700 preloaded

    Remove that, and you’re done ??

    By the way, when I do inspeect on my website the problem is solved, it no longer appear there. but if I do speed check with tools like GTmetrix.. it still scans the font.
    I cleared cache and also regenerate critical css path.
    what is the solution for this ?
