Basically, the previous developer that the company that I work for sent us the backup for the WPForms. It is a test site. It is in a zip file with a bunch of php files. I won’t know how to load it to see if it is correct before putting it on our main site. It does not contain a json file for import

    Hi @justanothertechbro,

It seems that your developer is not using our form export-import feature since the format is different.

Could you please reach out to the previous developer, and ask for guidance on how to use that backup? Thanks!

@shawon001 I don’t think that is quite possible now. I try to restore one of my sites using the backup and it ends up bricking the whole wp-admin and site so I can’t no longer sign in

    Hi @justanothertechbro,

I am so sorry to hear that.

In that case, I’d suggest reaching out to the previous developer and asking for guidance on how to use that backup. Thanks!

That won’t be possible as no one really know who is the previous developer for it. The current guy that my corp is communicating with is essentially saying that the site was setup by a guy before him

    Hi @justanothertechbro,

    Thanks for writing back.

Just to give you some more context on this- please know that WPForms exported form file name will be something like- “wpforms-form-export-date. In the date part, there will be the date of export. Do you see any file like that? If yes, that’s the file of the exported form!

If no, could you share the folders of the screenshots after uploading them on a platform like Google Drive and sharing the URL? That way, I’d try to see if there is anything in those folders.

    Thanks ??

    Hi @justanothertechbro,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
