When going to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=stock-manager, without searching and with searching/filtering, all we get is the error “loading failed”.

There is a JavaScript loading error in the console “TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘split’)” in wpApiMiddleware.js:97

All our plugins and WordPress are up to date, PHP version 8.0 and 8.2 (tried both). We’ve tried deactivating all other plugins and using a default theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Could you please try using a different browser, such as Chrome or Firefox, and check if the issue persists? FYI, the Stock Manager for WooCommerce plugin is not compatible with the PHP v8.0.0+. However, this error is not related to the PHP v8.0.0 compatibility.

As checked, we couldn’t replicate the ‘Loading failed’ issue on our end, but we’ve noted it and we will surely keep you posted.

Yes, we’ve already done all the debugging, there is nothing seemingly related to this issue in the logs.

    We’ve tried Chrome and Firefox.

Smart Manager might be a good alternative, I’ll wait to hear from the client if this is acceptable.

We would still like to understand why the Stock Manager plugin stopped working from one day to the next. Surely this would be a known issue?

Thank you for the update. As mentioned in our previous reply, we couldn’t replicate the ‘Loading failed’ issue on our end.

The issue you’re experiencing seems related to the WooCommerce REST API. Since the plugin relies on these APIs, any changes or issues with the API could cause such behavior. Could you confirm if the REST API has been disabled or if any recent changes were made to it?

As the issue seems specific to your site, please share the temporary login link by contacting us from here.

Here’s a secure way for you to give us administration access to your site:

    • Please go to your site’s WordPress Admin, install and activate the free WordPress plugin –?Temporary Login Without Password?(the plugin is developed by our own team, and used by top plugin developers like Yoast and others).
    • From that plugin, create a new temporary login link with administrator access, and one-month validity. We just need the temporary login link, you can use any of your own email addresses as the account email address.
    • Share the secure login link by contacting us from here.
    • Please also share steps to reproduce the issue in as much detail as you can.

Once this is done, we will access the site and diagnose the problem.

If for some reason you can not grant access to your live site, another option is for you to set up a staging site, replicate the problem there, and provide access to that.

Hello, we have the same error, can you help us?
