Loading ‘article’ twice in each result in search results loop

    In wordpress search results, sermons load the <article> tag twice for each post, resulting in nested results with two titles, two thumbnails, etc. Screenshots of html and page: https://imgur.com/a/Wn6G0Qk

    Versions: latest – WordPress 4.9.8, Sermon Manager 2.15.4

    I switched to the latest version of the TwentySixteen theme to verify that this is not a theme issue.

    Is there a way to patch or disable this behavior? Thank you!
