Loading animation issue

  • Hi there
    Can I somehow show the loading animation also before the new pages open?
    Currently I face the issue, that if I open a link I see the animation only if the second (new) page already startet to load. But my first page, where I start from takes also some time and there is no animation there.

    I mean if you click on a link, it will load usually in two steps.
    1. current page
    2. new page.

    But I see the load icon only after or between 1. and 2. page. So if you click on a link, first seconds you don’t see anything. User don’t know if it is loading or not.

    Won’t say it is a plugin issue, just asking if that behaviour can be changed somehow?

    Yes, but on the mobile version, the PWA version.
    Like I said, I can see it, but it appears after I click on a link only a few seconds later. But that could be also how my theme is supporting it?

    Yes, if you could try on a test installation with TwentyNineteen theme, and see if it works on your end?

    I am getting this, I am using the twenty-twelve theme and I do not want to change themes,
