Loaded wordpress using Fantastico – can’t log in?

what is nothing?
redirect loop?
blank page?
error for wrong user/pass?

I am having this same problem. Mine is a redirect loop.

for redirect loops on fantastico
you will need to delete any files in wordpress root that refer to fantastico
could be
fantver.php
fantfilelist.txt
etc

Then above root level look for folder
.fantasticodata
or similar and delete all contents inside

see if you can log in now or what error may be

I had the same problem. Installed WP using fantastico. ALL I got was blanks screen on root and wp-admin.

I followed advice to delete mentioned files/folders. but no change.

getting stressed now.

please help ??

@gary – fantastico is fantastic for everything else but wordpress, I don’t recommend it.

Do a mannual install you will be better off in the long run. Want it installed for you give me a shout.
