I also use Comet Cache for general page caching.

It was just a little tricky to get working. Once I chose ‘random wapuus’ in Discussion Settings, I was still seeing my previous setting of ‘Mystery person’ being used (in a separate browser, not logged in) even after I double-checked that everything was enabled.

I then cleared Comet Cache’s cache and refreshed the pages: now the gravatars were all broken images.

I then deleted Harrys Gravatar Cache’s cache and refreshed the pages and now everything is fine.
