load older posts on load more

  • On Ajax load more functionality, posts which are previously loaded or are older than the post which I am viewing currently are not visible but the newer ones are visible on load more. I want to show all the posts irrespective of the post which I am viewing currently.

    For example – say I have four posts A,B,C,D in the same order of creation. When I open post A, then other remaining posts B,C and D are visible in my case but the latest added post when viewed i.e. D, other remaining posts A,B and C are not visible. I want the same to happen. I want all the posts to be displayed on the page means whether I am seeing C, A, B or D the other three posts should also be shown on the page.

    Im just not sure what the issue is… Are you viewing single posts or a post listing?

    I am having a list of posts which are loading from ajax load more plugin. The posts come in ascending order where older posts are coming first and then the newer ones one after the other through ajax load more. If I am viewing the latest post which is the latest added post, the older ones are not visible under it. If I view the second latest post, I can see the latest one only. Means, If I see the latest post, I want all the other posts which are older than the current post should come under it. But as I can see that by using the previous post addon, only the post which is just previous to the current post is coming. Please help as how to customize this plugin to load all the posts whether older or newer.

    Makes sense. Your issue is the Previous Post addon only loads previous posts. Meaning older in chronological date.

    As of now it does not support any other ordering.
