• Hi,

I use NextGen only on one page, which is not the home page.

However, there are a few stylesheets and scripts loaded on everypage and after some testing, it shows that it plays a significant role in the speed of my site.

I tried this plugin, but was of no help:
    NextGEN Gallery Optimizer

How can I make Nextgen load only for one specific page?

    Thank you,

@schalk Joubert – There is currently no specific method to only load NextGEN Gallery scripts and styles on one specific page (although you are welcome to dig into the code to attempt this).

As it is, we are making some significant improvements in this part of the code and preparing it for our next major releases (2.0.67+) which may accomplish what you are looking to do … we suspect this is still a couple of weeks away before we have a beta/stable release.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

    Hi Cais,

Thank you for your response, much appreciated.
I am happy to hear that you are addressing this issue.
I’ll be looking out for the update.

Unfortunately, for now I will be using something else.
For me this is a very important aspect of any plugin, and only a handful of the plugins I use on about 30 websites loads regardless, as NextGen does.

Still, thank you for a great plugin and work,
    Schalk
