First off – by far the best gallery plugin I found.

But how is the “More” button working?
I expect that when I take a normal photonic shortcode and add count='4' more='load more' it will display 4 images and load more (ajax?) when the user presses a button saying load more. But it ain’t happen.

    Am I missing something here?

I don’t see a URL, so I cannot say for sure. The “Load More” feature does not apply to native WordPress galleries, because native WP galleries don’t have a concept of pagination. For every other type of gallery (Flickr, SmugMug, Google etc.) this should work fine.

Curious… I made a photonic gallery, so no external service like Flickr etc. was used, and it didn’t seem to work… ??
I will play around a bit more.

Right… when you are not using an external service, you are really using a WP gallery. That would place this limitation on you – since WP galleries fetch all attached images in one go, you cannot use the “Load More” feature of Photonic. Basically Photonic takes functionality provided by each platform and presents it to end-users. Since WP doesn’t offer the pagination functionality for its galleries, there is no such capability for Photonic to offer.

    Okay, thanks for the response!
