Load more & infinite loading issue fix/improvement

  • When using either load more or infinite scroll and let’s say you scroll down and reach page 3…then you click on a product and go back to shop, only page 3 will display.

    In most shops i’ve seen using infinite scrolling or load more button all the progress is kept and when user clicks back all the pages that had been loaded are displayed. (Also this wouldn’t cause any ux – navigation experience issues since when you go back in the browser you are directed to the part of the page where you last was.)

    If not as the main functionality i recommend this at least as an option.
    Keep pages that were loaded displayed. This makes it a much better experience because you don’t get lost in the progress of changing pages or forgetting where you were left off.

    Also is there any solution for this right now?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately it is not possible right now and it is hard to implement this feature.
    You can enable option “Don’t update url when next page shown”, then after go back first page will be opened, not sure is it better in your case.
