Load gallery categories from JSON

    I have created portfolio gallery with description pages for every of our project. We have used JSON files to store description and titles for the gallery images. One thing which gonna help me to organize all portfolio pages it’s import gallery categories list from JSON. Is there any way to configure gallery this way?

  • I had the same question. But I need to make some custom data format. Such global import option for text labels and gallery descriptions would be really helpful.

    Current gallery version don’t have such type of the import / export functionality. In our gallery we have backup import / export function. So if you have somewhere configured galleries and wish to move your gallery to another server location you can make full backup of the gallery settings with all text and styles with or without all images.
    Later you can restore this gallery backup on some other location.

    Unfortunately it’s not possible to import just text or gallery categories from external files. We had request of such functionality but we didn’t implement it yet. If you have more detailed specification for this functionality please send an email to our contact form and we’ll check it.
