Load Default Month (in Future)

I’ve got this plugin running on a series of event / conferences sites. Many times when launching the site, all of the events are months into the future so every time the page loads to “today” (aka This Month), the user has to click out X number of months to get to the events.

For example, if I have a bunch of events scheduled in October 2022 with nothing between today and October, and I load the page today, it loads to April 2022. I have to click 5 times to get out to October.

Is it possible to have the page load to October 2022 by default?

(This question would also be valid for week and day view… if you want it to load into a week or day in the future for the same reason.)
