Load Content Before Sidebars?

I have recently redesigned my blog and it is now loading extremely slowly. I’d like to have the content load before the sidebars, but when I rearrange the code in the index.php to call for the content first and sidebars second it loads the content first, but puts the sidebars below all my posts in the content section. Any ideas how to load content first, but keep the sidebars where they belong? Appreciate the help!
