My site has 47 pages and normally gets 10 page views a day. Occasionally it can get 110 a day.

I update a plugin about once a week, so Lite speed purges my cache about weekly. As most of my pages do not win even one visitor weekly, this means that most will rarely be in cache when that rare visitor opens them and so will mostly open slowly.

My host will not activate the crawler, so is there some way I can:
. define a group of my important pages and
. click a button to load these into cache after an update.

I can manually open a few pages but that will probably upset my site stats

Is there another plugin that can do this for me,

If I run a free web-based broken link checker does this load my pages into cache, e.g. https://www.drlinkcheck.com/

I would appreciate a web page discussing how to use lite speed on a small, quiet site.

My site is on a LiteSpeed server.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I updated a plugin and so purged the cache. Then I ran Xenu as I suggested above. My pages seemed slow to open. I tried to see if the cache had been loaded:
    Open chrome
Open developer tools (control + shift + I)
    Click on the “network” tab
Refresh site (refresh button or “Fn + F5”)
Click on the top entry in the “name” column, the file name of the page
    Under “response headers”
See either Litespeed cache “miss” or “hit”

I picked one of my pages in the website menu and opened it. I saw “Litespeed cache miss”. Then I opened the same page again and saw: “Litespeed cache hit”. Same for all the pages I tried. Something is going wrong. Damn.

you need to make curl to use same header as Chrome does

Hello qtwrk. I ran Xenu and did not get the result I was after. My pages were loading slowly. You have replied talking about curl. Could you elaborate. Thanks.

Your page doesn’t support TLSv1x and that’s why XENU doesn’t work with your page.

The puzzle is that when I ran the full analysis of the site, even rarely visited pages seemed to run fast. I thought it had worked – I didn’t know how to test it then. I thought my abbreviated run on my visitor’s page map was why it had not worked after the update. Looks like I was wrong.
