Load balanced WP servers under one hostname

    I have 4 WP instances setup behind a load balancer with two redundant hosts at two different sites. All four fall behind an application server that addresses them as https://www.example.com/.
    That name is set in their WordPress Address (URL) and
    Site Address (URL) names. Access to the systems works well with appro load balancing rules. The problem comes when I need to configure an individual host (yes, I am using one replicated DB they all point to). If I have need to address host a as https://hosta.oursite.com/ it simply redirects me to the example.com URL. Is there a way to get around this? I’ve tried punching the hosta address back in but it wont work for me.
