• Hello there, I wanted for help to resolve a situation. Please read the text Below:
I’m looking to increase my site’s availability across multiple servers. I know it’s impossible to do this with AWS, Azure, or the Google console, but the investment is not feasible on that platform, so I wanted to give the Brazilian way of doing things, it’s not recommended but it’s better than nothing….
The site is currently hosted by hostoo a cloud provider
the load balancing framework I want to apply is as follows.
    database on server
    wp-content on a separate server
Publish root server keep only necessary files on it and spread rest on random servers
    I intend to work with:
    1 server with database
    1 server with wp content
    2 index servers
1 backup server for all other servers.
I want to know if it is possible to work with this logic.
Unfortunately hostoo does not have a simple way to create the load balance, I basically need to create a new hosting for each server and for that the subdomain dns A name record is used… Ex: >db.yoursite.tdl< (this is the example of how the server would look. But the A name is not important since the communication is direct via IP…. obviously each server has its own IP made available at the time of hosting creation.

  • Hi!

It seems that your question is not so much about WordPress itself but rather related to how your hosting provider works so I’m afraid that I can’t help much with that.

As for hosting the database on a separate server – this is definitely possible. You can take a look at this question for more details.

    Hope this helps!
