    Hi, everyone, I tried doing a search on this, but I was coming up with blanks.

    My issue is that I just started up a WP last night, installing fresh the 3.0.1. Now, I understand there’s this handy-dandy Livejournal importer built in, so I thought “Excellent! They can take those FB and Twitter crosspost options and shove them where the sun don’t shine and I can have my posts and comments to take with me!”

    Well, I understand it indicates it “may take a while.” My trouble is, I set it up to run last night, and I have maybe 200 or so entries plus comments (which shouldn’t total more than maybe 1k?). So my real question is, it sits there in my browser with “Done,” and yet says “Importing Posts

    We’re downloading and importing your LiveJournal posts…”

    I’ve not had much experience with all this, but certainly it shouldn’t take over eight hours to pull the xml info and then import it… right?

    Can someone help with any thoughts on this?

    Hm, okay after some more playing, it also doesn’t seem to like getting the themes through the control panel, either. Or plugins, actually. I have to install them manually. It’ll properly delete them if I tell it to do that, though. Is this somehow related to my install of WP? I mean I am working on a completely fresh install…

    Try adding AddType x-mapp-php5 .php to the top of your WordPress .htaccess file.

    Oh! This seems to be letting it do what it needs to ^_^;

    I’ll make sure to mark it complete if it works. Thanks!!
