Live website to LocalHost problem

Hello everyone i’m having a bit of a problem putting my previously live website into my local host.

Heres the exact problem
I’m using Wamp, i put my backed up files into the www folder set up the database and fix the wp-config file to what it needs to be.

after that i type in localhost/name the content of the website comes up but images are broken and structure is all messy.

then when i click on a link it takes me to my previous hosting domain name.

maybe that megpt01.ipage.com link has something to do with this.. if so how would i change it so that i can modify my site in my localhost?
