    Hi,

It looks like the information saved from Live Traffic could be giving hacks an outbound link. I see a lot of ip’s recorded from Russia that show arrived from url’s. Many of the url’s are very questionable site.

I would like to know if the Live Traffic information is kept on my server or yours?

If they are on my server am I not then providing them an outbound link to the questionable site?

  • Equine, my understanding as a Wordfence customer is that Wordfence stores a large list of links in a database table, I recall it being WF_leachers. That table is only available internally, it would not be available to hackers unless they had violated your website.

Where are you seeing links that could be provided to hackers?

    Hello EquineAdoption,
The data is kept in the same database as your WordPress installation but “Live Traffic” is only visible to logged in administrators.

If you are worried about so called “referrer spam” you should check with your webhost to make sure that none of your server logs or statistic pages are visible on the web.
