Live Stock Quantity with caching Plugin

hi, this plugin is a really good idea!
but: does it work, if I use a caching plugin like cachify?a feature would be great:
a “live stock quanity request” from the fullfillment provider – via RPC or SOAP request, or live update stock quantity from an mysql table (unique key=sku)…thanks a lot
