• When my live site is up, it will have about 6 GB of images and 8000+ products (using woocommerce). I don’t have enough space on my domain for a duplicate staging site.

Ideally, I would like to be able to have 30 or so test products on the staging site, but I’m a little unclear how I would send my staging site to my live site without affecting the products on the live site. I’m not sure what other changes I should be aware of either going from staging to live.

I’d like to know what people’s best practices are with having a staging site, any tips, advice… I’d also like to know the best methods of backing everything up (entire domain and staging/live wordpress).

    Thanks!
