Live Page shows “There was an error trying to send…”

  • The live page shows the error There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later. when I click on Send.

    In WordPress Dashboard | Appearance | Customize it works and the email is also sent. This means, the SMTP data is configured correctly, but what confuses me is the fact, that on the live page it doesn’t work.
