    Hello.

    The Live credentials (so username, password, etc) keep clearing themselves after a certain period of time even though I’ve not edited any of the plugins options recently. We’re talking in terms of days or maybe a week?

    Last time this happened to me, I had thought somehow that I’d done it by activating Sandbox, testing then re-activating Live. But this particular time, I’ve not been near the plugin options. They’ve just cleared themselves. I actually don’t know how long it’s been but the last time I had an order was 27th January so it could have been since that time. It’s not good that the checkout button keeps disappearing so my customers have no way of purchasing except if I allow the checkout steps, which I don’t wish to do :/

    @wildgemma,
    Can you tell me if you are using some security plugin which may be changing the WP salt? if so then you need to change that behavior as for security reason we bind those credentials with the salt.

    So if that is keep clearing then you need to look at which plugins are regenerating the salt.
    Please check those and let me know if you still have the same problem.

    The offending plugin is SecuPress Free — WordPress Security as it installs a ‘must-use’ salt plugin that refreshes the keys each month. This actually happens more often than that every few days as I lost the button again this morning :/

    I’ve bought this to their attention, thought I’d update you so you’re also aware that the two used together are incompatible.
