• I run two blogs, and I have the Live Comment Preview plugin enabled on both. While it works fine on the first site, Keywords, it is not working right on the other site, Savage Minds. The only thing I can think of that is different between the two of them is that the Textile plugin is enabled on Savage Minds. However, the problem isn’t that it won’t render textile markup (although that would be nice), it is a bug with the textarea. On Savage Minds, when the text extends beyond the size of the text area and it starts scrolling, it constantly bounces back to the top, making it impossible to see what you are typing. This is not the case with Keywords, where I do not have this problem.

Can anyone suggest any solutions? I also tried the ComPreVal plugin, but that was even more of a nightmare, because it hard-codes the comment form into the plugin rather than using the one built into my theme. I spent about an hour trying to make it fit with what I had already in my theme, but I just couldn’t get it to look right.

All I really want is to replace the “submit” button with a “preview” and a “submit” button, so that those who want to can preview their post. Mostly just people who use lots of HTML and want to check that they got it right.

    Update:

I see Crooked Timber has both the Live Comment Preview plugin and textile enabled – so I don’t think it is a conflict. I think it must be something unique to my site’s CSS. But what?

Here is a link to my CSS file.

It was too annoying, so I had to disable it. (Well, actually Rex did.) If anyone has any suggestions as to what might be wrong let me know. We’d like to have something for preview… at the request of our users.
