I really appriciate your live chat plug in, I find it very useful!
I’m facing an issue with not receiving email notifications when someone starts a chat on my site.
I have found your step-by-step intructions, so lets go through it!Email Notification Troubleshooting
– Verify that you have enabled the “Chat notifications” option in “Live Chat” > “Settings” > “Chat Box” to receive email notifications. – I have done and double checked it in my settings.
Check your “Spam” or “Junk” mail folder for any notification message(s) misplaced by your email client. – I have checked my spam and junk email folder, there are no emails in them.
Verify that your WordPress installation is configured to send emails using a third-party plugin, which logs sent email server events. – Can you please help me, where I can find this setting? Im not really a webpage expert… ??
If emails are sent from your server but you do not receive them, you need to troubleshoot your email server by checking its logs. – I havent checked this one neither, since I can not check if the server is sending the emails out.
Do you think there could be any other things to check or do to make email notifications work?
