• I have added live chat to my website but can’t understand how it works. I can’t find any information on this on WordPress. It seems to be quite intermittent. I don’t understand if you have to keep the Chat page open while the chat box is live and if so why does it keep going off-line every few minutes. Is that a warning sound or something when somebody is online? Does this mean that I can’t use my computer for anything else want to chat
    Is open?

How did you add chat to your WordPress installation? Out of the box WordPress does not support chat but there are many plugins that you can install that will give you that capability.

If we knew how you added that (which plugin) then you might get pointed in the right direction.

Might be possible any bug with chat app which you installed on your system.

If you are using WordPress website, There is two ways to add live chat.

    1. Just download code of live chat and place entire code on web page. It will nice if you add chat code on footer/header which is common for all pages.

    2. Simply download plugin and install on your system. After successfully installation, a chat button will appear on your website, When visitors click on chat button, a pop up chat window and you will be connected with them. This pop chat window will never disturb your navigation behavior.

You will get more information by searching Live2Support on wordpress plugin.

    Thanks
