Same problem here. I have the paid version, Linux & PHP 5.3.28

Please post a solution here when it is resolved.

Go to Your subscription and find the “PHP 4/5 Information” tap and see, if there is something like this:

Mine is Danish – but never the less….
It says, that You are using a PHP 5.x-version on a Linux

    Hey juelsbo, thanks!

    Linux w/ PHP 5.4.38

Hopefully this can be resolved in a maintenance release soon. I use Live Activity all the time ever since I was hacked back in December.

Just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning.

    Ok. Everyone try this:

    • Go to your wordfence options page on your site and export your settings. Copy a key to a text doc.
    • check the box next to the option to”Delete Wordfence tables and data on deactivation?” and save the options
    • Go to the plugins page, and deactivate Wordfence.
    • Now use the plugin page to delete the plugin and confirm that you want to delete the files when asked
    • Reinstall for Plugins > add new page.
    • Verify that you are receiving IP addresses in Live Traffic
    • Import settings if you exported them in the first step
    • Verify again
    • This should fix it. Its worked on the handful of others I have repaired this morning. If you need a site to generate traffic to yours use geopeeker.com.

    Tim,

Will this delete all the IP addresses and networks I’ve already blocked in the past? I’d hate to have to start afresh. I get hammered by a lot of Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese hackers and I’ve kept them at bay for the most part.

It was a Ukrainian who originally hacked my site and I’ve noticed the same person continues to try and come at me from other angles.

p.s. Since this issue did creep in to the last build, isn’t there a way you can just re-release the working release and fix the problem in a future release?

I am a “free” user, but was thinking of switching to paid version to get the country blocking. Not really feeling the love if I’m going to lose months of history and effort.

    It worked!
Except that the former statistics disappeared.
But what was worse: The list of exclusions has also disappeared, so now I have to figure out once more, whom I don′t want to enter my site.
And some of those used IP′s from USA, England and Holland.

To cellyman: Please shift to the paid version. You will love the country-blocking! (all except english speaking countries and Western Europe).

Luckily I am running a couple of other sites as well, and from those I could copy and paste those intruders once more.
So: Make a list of IP′s, you don′t want to see more before deleting WordFence !!
    Example: 209.126.96.0 – 209.126.127.255

We’ve already fixed the underlying issue. Stay tuned.

Juelsbo – that is a good idea, if you only have a few blocked. But I have many networks blocked. Too many to list. Plus I have user agents blocked etc…, the other advanced blocked settings. And I too am working 3 sites.

I am hoping that Wordfence comes up with an update to fix this issue.

    Tim,

Great news.I look forward to the update.

Juelsbo, I was really nervous about having to re-enter everything because I have not just specific IP#’s, but ranges of IP#’s. I also review the stats often so losing them would be hard to swallow. I have over six months of info in there.

I am seriously thinking of going with the paid version. How this next version deals with the issue will go a long way to convincing me to switch.

It’s by far my most useful plugin as it stands now. ??

    Brad

p.s. I am in the same boat as janeandboucle except I manage only one site (My site which supports my business)

Jim has just send a message, that a new version (Version 6.0.9) can be found under “Plugin Updates”, when You log into Your sites.
    They have solved the problem…

I applied the update and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the quick fix!
