Little Hippo: Img Title Length

  • I love this plugin!

    Is there a manual or other documentation? I can’t seem to find anything at the site. The reason I ask is I’m getting errors on the Img Title Length tab and it doesn’t look like anything I’m trying is working.

    I’ve tried reducing the characters, increasing characters, adding “-” in between words, removing “stop” words etc… but nothing seems to work. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious but I’m a bit stumped at the moment.

    Hi Steve,

    There should have been a PDF version of the documentation included in the plug-in download. You might check the plug-in directory on your installation. If it is not there, drop me an email at [email protected] and I will reply with an updated copy of the documentation.

    Currently, there is a lower limit set on the IMG Title Length, and there shouldn’t be. We are fixing this issue and a few other and will be releasing an update later this week to address this issue.

    Hi again Steve,

    We have just updated the plug-in.

    To fix your problem, login to your WordPress Dashboard as the Administrator.
    Click Little Hippo > Reset

    Follow the prompts from the Reset Wizard.
    This will clear the current issues count and re-scan your content for SEO issues.

    This should fix the error in reporting for Images with Title that are too short.
