    Hi WordPress folks,

    I need some serious help.

I am trying to install WP on a website and I am having issues. I have downloaded the latest version and have installed WP on several site in the past. I also have created a theme and know my way around WP but the issue is installing.

I upload all of WP files up to the directory:

https://womenshealthcambodia.org/blog/ and this is what I get:

    Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/php5-cgi/blog/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I do not understand what it is? I have worked with php and have the database up and running. This is a first for me…

    Some please help me,

    Thanks,

    Ben.

Could anyone else shed some light on this issue?

I am still getting the same error. Also the blog page has been changed to a static page now for the time being, until I get back to it,

Would be happy if someone else could help me out here!

    Thanks ??

I’d echo govpatel’s concern about about that weird path in the error: /cgi-bin/php5-cgi/blog/index.php. If you’re sure that you’ve uploaded and installed WP correctly, then there may be a problem on the server itself,. Have you spoken to your hosts about this?

    Hi Folks,

What sort of issue do you think we are talking about here?

I am going to get WP on a test server and see if I have the same problem there too.

    Ben ??

I think it is problem with web server !

Try to run a simple php script to another directory.if showing same error
then certainly it is problem with sever.

It now loads fine for me. It appears the issue has been resolved. Are you seeing the website now?

No that is a static page that I uploaded. I am still getting the same error message:

The requested URL /cgi-bin/php5-cgi/blog/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This has not been resolved but I am trying.

    Thanks,

    Ben.

    Please ignore this link above:

    https://womenshealthcambodia.org/blog/

    THIS IS A STATIC PAGE!

    I still need help please.

Thank you everyone who is helping me. ??

That’s an unusual path to represent WordPress. I’ve never known WordPress to run from the cgi-bin. This is usually reserved for server side scripts. What URL can we try to access WordPress from?

    Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/php5-cgi/wordpress/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Thanks,

    Ben.

You may want to try to contact your hosting provider.

    Hey Tim,

Thank you so much for your help.

    Thanks,

    Ben

    Hi,

This error is showing because “cgi-bin” has been deleted from hosting root.
Contact your web host to fix this,
    It is server side…
