Hi, I keep getting this error message from the Site Health …

“The scheduled event, litespeed_ccss_trigger, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.”

I’ve searched for a resolution to this problem, as yet, I’ve not found a thing to help fix this problem.

I’ve read other requests from other people regarding a solution to this error, and as I’ve mentioned, there’s no fix yet.

    Please post a solution asap.

    Hi,

Based on my knowledge , this is not exactly the LSCWP issue , but WP cron itself , mostly it happens after WP upgrades and should be fixed by itself in a day or so.

and if you have disabled wp-cron and using 3rd party cron , this message will always show up.

    Please check this post

Hi qtwrk (@qtwrk), thanks for your swift reply.

I followed your link and worked my way through the jungle that is Techknow which I have very little knowledge of.

However, I do have some excellent Tech guys at my disposal and as we beered our way through and discussed this issue and sure enough, LiteSpeed Cache ain’t got a thing to do with it at all, as you mentioned. Cool.

Here’s the fix we found, pass it around if you like.

The problem seems to be with WP, somehow and somewhere WP isn’t getting to re-adjust or reset itself properly on some installs, for whatever reason. We’d finished the second round by now.

A quick search however showed us a brilliant method and fixable way of getting the issue sorted. *Clink

This works a treat. Cheers and again, thanks for the swift Tipungwuti repoly … 4th round and counting !

So glad you got it sorted out (and enjoyed a few rounds in the process ?? )

Thanks for the update and for sharing the link.

    Cheers!

Saw this in my dashboard this morning. Have applied the fix and will see. Thanks ZAAAX (@zaaax)
