When I update say a contact form, does the page using that know it needs a refresh?
If not, how do I refresh it? Other than purge all.

    Hi,

by “update” you mean edit the content of it ?

then yes , it should be able to auto-purge that page.

Yes if I edit a contact form which is a different elements from the actual page, or for example I use the insert page plugin which inserts one page into another, will the page know that something included inside is changed

    Hi,

So I tested with contact form 7 , when I updated the form , the page does get purged and update the info.

When I try it, it doesn’t seem to update. But maybe because I’m using Contact Form 7 Redirection, which adds an extra tab to Contact Form 7 forms.
But still, I’m saving changes to the form. The page needs a cache purge to refresh

Also if I publish a post, the blog page doesn’t purge.

THanks. Just another question, if a user does shift-ctrl-r, does that cause litespeed to purge that page? Or still depend on TTL

    Hi,

No , once you make it ESI, this page will have 2 caches , one is the main page , which will remains until you update it or expires, the ESI part , will have its own expire setting , if you set to no-cache , then the main page will still be cached , and only this block hits PHP.

I enabled ESI in settings, but using
    [esi vc_media_grid style=”lazy” items_per_page=”12″ item=”28691″ grid_id=”vc_gid:34″ include=”2,33,1″ el_class=”mid-wide” ttl=”300″]

it no longer renders. Is there a problem using visual composer?

    try this.

I can see your short code was not using English form of , I replaced it with correct one , it should work

If it still doesn’t , please kindly provide a report number in your next reply.

Merely adding ‘esi’ to any tag breaks it.
