    Hello.

I’m trying to make YITH WooCommerce Wishlist work with LiteSpeed ESI and can’t seem to manage to do that.

When I activate ESI, the “Add to Wishlist” button doesn’t show up.

I’ve tried activating the YITH WooCommerce Wishlist Ajax option, but it didn’t help.

I do see HTML comments saying the block was cached (sometimes it says “uncached”) by LiteSpeed ESI – but the button doesn’t show up.

    Can it be achieved?

    Thanks.

    UPDATE:

I tried a simple WooCommerce [products] shortcode and it didn’t work as well.

All my attempts up until that point were using the Block Editor.

I then tried to inject both the shortcodes (YITH and WooCommerce) using PHP echo directly to wp_footer – and it did work.

Maybe ESI has issues with the Block Editor?

hmm? not particular familiar with block editor , have you tried with classic editor ? the yith wishlist should be automatically handled.

    Thanks for your reply @qtwrk.

WordPress has moved away from the Classic Editor.

Switching back to the Classic Editor isn’t a practical solution.

If this is a feature you aim to maintain, I believe it should be brought into the Block Editor.

    Otherwise, it is mostly redundant.

    Thanks,
    Asaf
