    Hello!

We have hundreds of daily litespeed css files 404 errors. Also we disabled the plugin for a few hours and the erorrs still appear.

    For example: https://ibb.co/KW8gZTq

Also we can see this in cpanel: https://ibb.co/L6pYQm4

We flushed the cache from the cpanel and the problem still persist.

    Thank you!

when you have JS/CSS minify/combine enabled , it will generate files like `/wp-content/litespeed/js|css/xxxxx

and the file name is generated based on md5sum value it may change from time to time

JS and CSS minify combined were not enabled. We had to disable the plugin because a lot of queries were loading very, very slow and the cpu usage spiked to 100%.

from the report you were having them enabled

please try disable them and see how cpu usage goes

    Hello,

Minify and combined for both css and js are disabled now (for a few days).

But we still have cpu spikes and 404 errors for these files:
    https://ibb.co/0Vj1sHf

Also when the cpu spikes happened we have a few pages of these queries:
    https://ibb.co/86T18gg

    And 404 errors: https://ibb.co/Ns6LDsx

I can understand new css files are created and a few 404 errors may occur but combined with the cpu usage, something may be wrong.

    Thank you!

my guess is somewhere something has some cache that is still requesting to old links

please share the latest report again.

It could be something like that. Report number MGZLDTCG. Sent it to litespeed.

yeah , confirm they are off now , my guess is cache somewhere still hitting the old links , you may just need to wait for cache to be refreshed , like google bot’s cache or something.

    Hello,

Did some more testing and the problem still persists. This is form today, 2 hours ago. https://ibb.co/s1BKbhG
There are 3 pages like this and CPU spike 100% or close to it.

Also we have another issue, I dont know if it is related. The enlarge images on product page doesnt work for all products.
    https://craftup.ro/ata-de-brodat-poliester-rotweiss/
For this for example. The button works with litespeed disabled. It may be some kind of setting?

    Thank you

try manually open one of these pages , see how it acts and what is the content it loaded

this is usually happens due to some JS options , but from report , I don’t see any JS options enabled , but please try go to toolbox -> import/export -> reset to default setting and purge all.

Tried the default settings, still the button doesnt work. After I disable Litespeed it works immediately.

I think it may be something related to image optimization settings? The images quality is not very good with images optimised (WordPress Image Quality Control is set to 90). The images are a little blurred, this should be visible with 90 quality?

Even if I choose use original images, the quality is not good, but with litespeed disabled the quality is good.

no , image optm won’t affect page’s button or any other elements , but only image , it must be something else

please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com with reference link to this topic , we will investigate further.
