How do I make the plugin work with another disk caching plugin and which one is compatible with litespeed cache? The problem is that although litespeed cache optimizes the website in many cases it does not do disk cache (because my host doesn’t have litespeed). So this in turn results with a high TTFB and other things. In fact even though there are many optimizations with this plugin, it underperforms by comparison to all other plugins really… this is beacuse there is no liteserver on my host server…

So please guide me what to do if I am on an apache server? I would like to use this plugin because it has so many optimization features, but I am unable to do so because it does not provide disk caching for me… can I use the litespeed cache in conjunction with another wordpress plugin?

Or is there a different way? I don’t want to change my host as they are actually the best host I’ve been with, the only downside so far was really that they don’t have litespeed on their servers.

  • Hi @johns0n ,

In a condition when Litespeed Web server is available, LSCache can be used(It is a server level-cache) while the Plugin provides you a way to control it.

When Litespeed Web server isn’t available, You can still use the optimization features however the server-level cache will not work, In short, it won’t be using the advanced-cache file for your WordPress installation.

In such a condition, Yes, You can use any other Full-Page cache plugin for your website.

Shivam is right. And here’s a little more information about using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin with other cache plugins. Basically, you can use our plugin with any other optimization plugin as long as you don’t try to duplicate functions. Your scenario where you use one plugin for caching, and our plugin for everything else would work fine.

P.S. Have you asked your hosting provider about LiteSpeed? They may not offer it now, but if enough of their users request it, perhaps they will offer it in the future ??
