    Hello,

I have some issues with the combination of Litespeed Cache and Shortpixel : the images on my blog don’t display in WebP but in JPG.

I have given an access to my admin panel to the Shortpixel team so they can fix the problem, but they don’t find it.

So they said me to contact you with the following message :

Litespeed Cache plugin is preventing somehow our plugin from writing the double extension files. Can you please get in touch with the Litespeed Cache team and tell them about this incompatibility?

    Thanks ??

  • LiteSpeed LScache offers everything to make almost everything is possible. The problem with Shortpixel is that it isn’t cache friendly. That means that Shortpixel can’t be used with any cache plugin, but LScache (not the cache plugin) can make it work with Shortpixel. This needs a custom LScache solution because the cache plugin is not made for 3rd party image processing.

Why don’t you use webp Replacement function in cache plugin?

    Ok thanks !

You are right. I think it will be better if I delete ShortPixel and use only Litespeed Cache.

Do you have a tutorial to convert and serve the images in WebP? Because I’m not a technician and it seems a little bit complicated with QUIC.cloud, etc.

You only have to request a domain key in settings of cache plugin and enable webp Replacement. That’s it.

I have an account on QUIC.cloud, my domain name is in it.
I have requested a domain key and it’s ok too.
    I have enabled webp.

But each time I send an optimization request, it says that I have send too many request and I have to wait a little time.

But no images are optimized, even if I wait 1 hour before sending another optimization request.

quic.cloud seems currently be overloaded, but I heard that LiteSpeed is already working on this issue, so be patient.
