I fix the crawl time to 3600 but now after 8 hours, there are no page cached!

Why?

try run duration 1800 , interval between 180, crawler interval 1800

1-My question is: why the crawler always run and cache the page? we don’t change them until we press Purged all. it that okey?

2-Somethimes when I login in WordPress dashboard, it show me this, please tell me why? I didn’t press the Purged button

by the setting you have, the crawler will always run , if you don’t have server resources problem , this will maximize the cache efficiency

even yourself don’t purge it , it’s possible some other things or events that trigger the purge , you can enable the purge log to track it if you want

The crawler of mobile changes crawler every 3minutes but the crawler desktop does not change anything

no , crawler doesn’t care the page status , when you see it mark green , which means page was cached already , when you see it mark blue , which means page was NOT cached before , but it has been cached now

so both green and blue mean the crawler is doing its job

what you want to figure out , is not sticking on the crawler , you should follow the document for how to enable the plugin’s log , and check the purge log

imagine the first time crawler runs , you get all blue , okay , now second time crawler runs , assuming nothing happens , like you didn’t publish anything , edit any setting, upgrade any plugin …etc , the second time crawler should get you all green , but if it still gives you blue , that means something purged cached , and that “something” is what you need to use log to figure out

2- Why does the crawler never crawl all the pages in gray color? every time I refresh the crawl page, it shows me the number under 600

when you have large site map , like few K pages , crawler can not finished it at one-run , it will only show the status on last run

for example you have 1000 , and the run duration only allows crawler to finish 300 pages , then you will see that color’ed status breaks apart , to shows up only 300 , instead of total 1000

@qtwrk So you mean the crawler will run and crawl all those 1000 pages but in litespeed cache could not show that?

Yesterday the site wasn’t open, so I had no choice and I restarted the webserver to fix this, is that related to cache settings?

no, I mean that status recorder (the grey/blue/green/red numbers ) may not show it accurately
