• A completely empty page with the Avada theme, where there is no content and plugins, on a website that is installed in Vultr on a cloud virtual server with two processor cores (response less than 40 milliseconds) – cannot exceed 76 points out of 100 on Google Speed test.

At the same time, pages with content and design themes Astra or GeneratePress consistently give 100 points out of 100 both on the desktop test and on the mobile.

I tried to install a lite speed plugin (I have LSWS also) that works great on my other websites. I also have a paid QUIC account. But in Avada’s case, the website’s speed slowed down. Google’s speed test scored just 27 out of 100 on the mobile version. That being said, I can call myself an experienced user, as I optimize websites not only for myself, but also for my clients. And Avda is the only theme that I haven’t been able to improve with the lightspeed caching plugin.

If you have a website on Avada and you cannot achieve positive results with Google Speed test, change the theme and you will succeed.

Don’t use Avada. This is the best solution to improve the performance of your Avada website.

We too moved away from Avada. No matter how intense our efforts were to improve performance, Avada’s bloated code just isn’t fit anymore for performance and speed.

It may be one of the most feature-filled builders for WordPress, but its performance is really bad.

You can have a look at their support forum and see that customers are moving away from Avada.

I am thinking of moving away from Avada as well. Speed is terrible. Lots of bloat. So what do you recommend? I am thinking of switching to “Themify Ultra” or “Elementor” or “Divi”. But I’m having hard time to decide which one I should invest. According to my investigations, I see that all three have advantages and disadvantages.

If I use “Themify”, I read that it would be hard to switch to another theme in the future if they stop developing it. It seems to be fast. But I have concerns about using third party plugins with it as well. I saw a review page saying that it is not compatible with many third party plugins.

And about Elementor, I see some critisizms as well… Elementor is said to make faster pages when compared to Divi. But while Divi has one time fee, Elementor needs a recurring payment every year. “Themify Ultra” seems to have the best speed… And it also has a recurring payment. I’m so confused. Any comments? Which theme should I switch from Avada to get the best speed and flexibility?
