Yes I am aware that I can do this via the plug-in settings but I am having issues updating the listings settings and only the listings. I am using the Free Hostia hosting free version which has blocked the listings url for some security reasons. I could disable the mod_security in .htaccess file but that might prove to be risky.

This is the error I am getting when I click on the listings tab to update:

    412 Error
Your request got filtered out due to possible security issues.

One or more things in your request were suspicious (defective request header, invalid cookies, bad parameters)

If you think you did nothing wrong:

try again with a different browser
avoid any evil characters inside the request url
If you are the owner of the website, you can consider revising the rules of the mod_security module or turning it off from your Web Hosting Control Panel.

Thus my request for a shotcode.

    Hi,

Please use the official support forum https://hivepress.io/support/ This one is rarely checked.

If possible send more details about this issue, does it occur on the listing search page or listing edit page? The only shortcodes available at the moment are listings, listing categories and listing search form. Unfortunately there’s no way to show other layouts via shortcodes.

This occurs on the listing edit page inside wp dashboard when i am trying to update my proffered settings.

If possible i could use all 3 shortcodes. Where do i find them?

    Thanks for your response.

Is there some error when you try to update a listing via back-end? If possible send more details about this issue, shortcodes will not resolve it because they only work on pages, not inside the listing content.

The error is the 412 error listed above. The error has nothing to do with your plug-in but the hosting which is blocking the action and I’d have to upgrade in order to resolve the issue which I am not ready to do at this point. I will not have any issues if you provide me with the 3 shortcodes when placed on the listings page I have created. Please oblige and I’m sure I will send you positive news of the resulting outcome.

Are you going to send shotcodes or not I did write about this on your forum page above but that seems to have been deleted let me know so I can move forward…this issue has been going on for too long already, you can either provide the 3 shotcodes willingly or not it’s up to you. But please let me know.

I’m sorry, but there’re no shortcodes you asking for, this plugin uses blocks instead and shortcodes will eventually be deprecated by WordPress (in favor of blocks). Please contact your hosting provider, they should block any HivePress functions because there’s no malicious code, if they unblock these functions or you switch to another hosting provider you’ll be able to use HivePress without any workarounds (like shortcodes) or issues.

That’s contrary to what you mentioned prior …thanks anyway!
