    Hi,

    I am having this issue.
I recently switched to your plugin and realized a major issue (I do not know if it is only for me or for everyone).
Each job listing has to be approved by the admin before it is published.
Each employer has to create a company and then list his jobs.
If I approve the listing without viewing it in back end (please check this image to understand me better https://prnt.sc/22x9zg2) it is working properly and it is listed on the company page.

But If I as admin open the listing in the backend (in order to check if everything is ok) and then hit the publish button, the listing will not be available on the company page.

Can you help me solve this?

    My theme is workscout
    I run on php 8
    I have WP 5.8.2 installed
I have the latest version of your plugin
and I have installed the premium bundle from WP JOB MANAGER.

    Hello there,

Thank you for trying out our plugin. Can you please start by de-activating all third-party plugins and switching to one of the default WordPress themes to make sure there are no conflicts with the theme or plugins?

    Kindest Regards,
    Ibrahim

So I tried it like this:

WP Twenty Twenty One theme, your plugin and wp job manager.
Does not show anything. Just the name and logo of the company.
    No job listings at all.

Workscout theme, your plugins and wpjobmanager.
Exactly the same error as I described above

Thank you for the clarification. I’ll run some tests locally on default copy and will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Hello again,

I ran tests locally. I was able to view jobs in the single company page. Can you please check if you’ve assigned the created company name from the dropdown like here: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/179533/146151241-54072e4b-15c4-4141-b589-b0b6c55147ac.png

To reiterate there are 2 places where you’ll have to specify the company name. With reference to the above screenshot:

    1. Company Name ( Provided by WPJM plugin and it is a simple text box ).
    2. Company ( Provided by our plugin and it is a dropdown ).

Once the dropdown is assigned the jobs will appear in single company page.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions or need further help.

    Thanks,
    Ibrahim

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I guess I did not explain myself properly.

I am the administrator of the website (not a user but the administrator).
If a user (Employer profile) create a job listing, I (as an a administrator) have to review it and click publish in order for it to be visible on the website front end.

The problem is that when I (the administrator) edit a listing of an employer (not my listing) the dropdown (the one that you show on your screenshot does not show any option https://prnt.sc/2340m1i

So the problem is that because I have to check and then approve all the job listings manually, in the end none of the listings is shown on the company page.

    Hello again,

Thank you for getting back. I understand your issue. Please note when a user submits a Job and mentions a company name, it does not create a company. Company creation is achieved through a separate form. At this point, you’ll have to write custom coding to achieve company creation on Job submission.

However, I see this as a way to improve this plugin. We’ll create this feature for this plugin but we cannot guarantee a release date for this yet.

    Kindest Regards,
    Ibrahim

    The theme author fixed it.
I use the WorkScout theme, which is a premium theme from the themeforest.

And on the WorkScout theme the company creation step is part of the job submission process.

Anyways thank you for you help.
