Listing published/approved email – subject shows – when title has dash

    Hi,

    Tested with latest version – 3.0.10.3 ( April 13, 2024 )

    In the subject of Listing published/approved email if the listing title contains a “-” the email shows the characters as below instead.

    Email template override cannot set headers.

    Please guide or fix.

    Had to insert an image to show the characters as this forum converts the characters to dash – which the email is NOT doing ??

    We already fixed few email escaping issue. Could you provide any screenshot of issue which one you faced?

    Hi,

    We are using latest version – 3.0.10.3 ( April 13, 2024 )

    Under CL -> Settings -> Email -> Listing published/approved email we have updated the subject and header as below

    The {listing_title} value for this listing is Another bedding – from UK (just for testing dash)

    The email that comes has a problem ONLY in the Subject. Heading is fine

    Dash is seen as characters in Subject – this is the issue

    Dash is seen properly in Heading

    Hope this help you understand better.

    As you would be aware we cannot override headers using email template file.

    Also, you are requested not to suggest some code in functions.php to fix this.
