Listing posts by title only in Category and Archive sections

  • Hello, i searched and searched on this forum but i cannot find the right hack for the template i’m using with my site.

    Please help me to make posts listed by title only, in Category and Archive sections.
    I do not want to list entire posts, just the title.

  • Well, I don’t have time to “decode” your url…
    But you should edit your archive.php template file and remove the call for the_content.
    NOTE: display questions are pretty much theme specific, so not knowing which theme is in use I can give only vague answers.

    The theme name is BLA.

    category.php, archive.php, page.php files do not exist.

    Try creating category.php and archive.php – both as copies of index.php. In them, remove the_content() (and perhaps the wrapping div if there is one) and see how that works.

    Is this the right way to solve?

    well, either that or adding a slew of Conditional_Tags in the theme’s index.php. Personally, I think this way is far easier. ??
