• Hi,

Just a quick question about a players profilr page (I’m using free Sportspress with Rookie and the football extension). On a players profile page I get a list of matches they have played in which is great. I was wondering if for every row on the table I could indicate the number of goals the player had scored in that match? If it’s not available out the box, would it be possible to modify the PHP/HTML/template used to generate that page to include that data if wanted? I’m happy to code that an contribute it to the project, I’m just not sure which file(s) I need to look at.

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Hi Simon!

    Thanks for reaching out.

Are you storing the goals stat for your players? If you are it should be in your players profile. Could you send us an example?

As for coding, we always welcome contributions. We have a public github repo here:

    Thanks!

    Hello @@simonde,

Unfortunately, no, what you are looking for is not possible. This has been a requested feature for quite a few years, but the only option for player profiles currently is to have their entire history shown and not player history on a match by match basis.

It can definitely be done and others have pointed me to Visual Composer edits and other developers, but it was too cumbersome to keep up with the updates. You may have better luck since you are a coder by default it seems, but wanted to let you know it for sure is possible; I just do not know which files were/need edited and how.
