Listing fee based on taxonomy/category/region

    I would like to be able to have free and paid listings. Sellers can list locally for free, but are charged if listing globally. Based on whether the listing is local or global will determine what results are exposed to buyers.

    Can I use a category/taxonomy for local and global, and charge a listing free based on the global category/taxonomy with this plugin?

    AWPCP has a fee per category module that allows you to charge different amounts based on the categories they list in. If you wanted to use a category to represent a region, that could work, but we don’t have a way to determine fees based on location alone right now.

    Thanks, I think the built in fee per category could work in the meantime. Are there plans to implement location based fees in the plugin in the near future?

    That’s something we can consider for future development, but not something the plugin allows for today. I’ve added it to the roadmap, but don’t have a specific timeframe for it. All of our development is prioritized by user requests, so the more people that want something, the more likely it is to get built quicker.
